That sword frigging mystified me when I was a kid. My dad kept saying how impractical it was, and I was like, who cares? it has three blades! And you can shoot people with two of them!

It'll be a free download. You just have to register at my site to get the access key when its announced. It'll be in widescreen, 5.1 soundtrack. And best, its FREE!

I watched it and the sequel once and did this to myself:

Maybe it explains my madness at times.

Ok I have to ask. In this director's cut. How much more of Red Skull do we have? I mean actual Red Skull cause I hear he gets plastic surgery and looks different in modern times.

Seriously, big fan, longtime fan, and the only thing wrong with your Captain America flick was the rubber ears......

Oh my god, S and S ranks in my top 4 favorite low budget sci fi flicks of all time, tied with Nemesis, Ice Pirates, and Spacehunter.......

I remember seeing the movie posters at the local AMC around 1990. I was so excited for the movie - the shield was not translucent!! I didn't get to see the movie until it was on HBO in 1993.

I thought the movie was okay. The problem was the budget. But if you compare CA to its other low budget brethren like Punisher and Corman's FF, it is easily the best.

I have a question.

Why an Italian Red Skull? I've never understood that decision.

One of the first torrents I ever downloaded.

They got the characters right - Doom was Doom (as opposed to Doom N Tuck) but the movie was boring and the FF costumes looked redonkulous.

And the whole subplot with the freaking Morlock-type people made no sense. I couldn't figure out if they were trying to do a Mole Man thing or what.

Yes a lot more Red Skull in WWII and a bit more set up on why he was Italian. Its a genetic thing. But the main reason he was Italian is that's how he was in the screenplay written before I came onboard and since it was the "legally" approved script by Marvel, nothing signifigant could be changed. I had wanted to change RS into a German industrialist post WWII.

As a kid I loved the Red Skull sleeper's awake comic issues and wanted to do that but it would have needed a budget. I did use the whole cube idea in a film I did at the same time as Cap, called Deceit.
