Feel free to put these up in the future if you beat me to it. On the west coast I don't watch this stuff until hours after everyone else.

I really like the relationship between Kennex and Dorian. That its Dorian that feels human and Urban that seems to have lost his humanity is a nice twist.

Yea, I also think Dorian (or I should say Michael Ealy) does a good job of acting like like a bot with feelings, if that makes sense? He doesn't just act like he's human, he still comes off as an android.

Rob Bricken on i09 in his review commented that he thinks Ealy's key to playing Dorian as robotic and human is his face.

The way he says his lines is filled with emotions and soul but he keeps his face pretty much the same. He doesn't express a whole lot with it and I think Rob's got a point there.

I'm enjoying the show a lot and I think this was better than the pilot.

I'd give it an 8.

Of course it was, there were lots of hot women in this one! :-D

And the immortal line, "please, never scan my testicles again!"

More seriously though, it's a good buddy cop show set in a nice sci-fi future, where they seem to put a lot of thought into the little plot details. I like the idea of a DNA bomb used by the perps to contaminate a crime scene so much that nothing useful forensically can be found.

A 9 from me.

I gave it a nine as well, this show has it all. Action, great character moments and a smart procedural to boot. Funny too, I lol'd at the testicle scanning but what made me do a spit take was when Dorian mocked Kennex's robotic response to a question he asked. I can't remember if it had to do with the case or the dating profile but it was priceless. OMG or stabbing his leg, even Dorian knows that's scary for kids. As others have mentioned, this shift in theme that the robot is more in touch with a sense of humanity than the human is a refreshing change of pace. These guys have great chemistry!

I knew I'd probably enjoy Karl Urban's performance as i'm a huge fan but all the players here are very unique and enjoyable. Best part is HIMYM gets to be relegated to VoD and my wife can't make me watch it anymore!
