Although this one does seem to be following what I consider to be the big mistake with comic films, letting the bad guy know the heroes secret Identity. I hate that because it typically means that the villain wont survive the movie.

but if you follow they follow the comics, doesn't Kurt Conners become a confidant to Peter. Sure the Lizard is evil, but there Conners has helped Peter out quite a bit since the lizard first appeared.

Yea but Conners was never evil. Here they are showing Kurt as being evil, at least thats how it looks to me.

I'm really anticipating this movie and think Andrew Garfield will be great, but this trailer could have been better IMO.

There wasn't that one "wow" moment. It felt a bit subdued.

WOW! A lot better than I thought it would be. I just watched both Spidey 1 and 2 last weekend. I have to say the more I watch these the less I enjoy them. Other then the battle scenes I find Toby to be more and more wimpy at each viewing.

Same here. I was skeptical, but now I wanna see it.

(But damn, look at the last 1/3 of that trailer - can they have a movie where Spidey can keep his frickin' mask on most of the time?! )
