but yeah, on repeated viewings, it doesn't age incredibly well. there are still some scenes in it which are timeless, and were good then and will be good years from now, but there are also some really groan-inducing bits in there too. Spidey 2 is better in damn near every way (with the exception of any scene where Aunt May is onscreen), and has what is still my favorite extended scene in any superhero movie ever (the whole Spidey-Doc Ock train fight sequence leading up to the passengers standing between Pete & Ock), and ages better than 1, but still has some flaws.
OTOH, i think all the Marvel Studios stuff stands up much MUCH better to repeat viewings over time.
Nothing here I don't agree with. All the Marvel movies I think(except for maybe IM2) are going to age better.
