If you had to talk about yourself in 500 words or more, what would you say?
GO!
Well, I don't know about that 500-word requirement, but I'll see what I can do.

I prefer the DC Universe and its superheroes over Marvel's because the former are more idealistic. Superheroes are meant to look "Up in the sky!!" at, not down upon. This, of course, is why I resent the recent attempts to Marvelize it by making the characters into miserable losers, and bringing in characters from the heavily Marvel-inspired Wildstorm universe. As with many fans, I have my own ideas as to how they can be better handled.
I draw from time to time. Before you ask, yes, it's usually pretty ladies, like my favorite heroine in my avatar.

I draw "manga-style" characters (since I own several "How to Draw Manga" books) as well as more realistically.
I'm also interested in learning about the rest of the world, especially Japan (as you may have noticed). To a degree, this stems from an interest in DC's international characters and planning out better handling of them, but it has become quite a bit of an end in itself. Due to this, I read internationally-focused magazines like Colors and Monocle. But more recently, I've also begun watching news programs from around the world, like NHK Newsline and France 24.
I listen to various types of music. I've always been big on smooth jazz and R&B. That said, I've been watching Bollywood-based programs and movies since the late '90s, enjoyed J-pop in part through anime, and gained an interest in K-pop last October when my cable company started airing the TVK network. I also dabble in various other world music, currently through the British magazine Songlines.
