That film was kind of boring.

Eden Affair was the better DP film. The opening scene was hilarious and typical DP.

I dunno, I liked the bit about the thief and the bottle of wine. But yeah, it wasn't that exciting. Especally since I was watching it in straight Japanese.....

Christ, I own that movie and haven't watched it since the 80's........

I bought a 90s VHS English adaption, I think, but never watched it.

I liked the original series, Eden Affair and the OVA.

Flash was just too silly and didn't seem that great a reboot. It was okay, but...

I hated flash so much I didn't even take the free copy that was offered...

Though to this day my favorite Dirty Par is still Adam Warrens version.

Those were fun and had the right spirit to them.

I liked it, but it wasn't that great. His style got too heavy at that point. IMO.

He still does designs, but I think they lost the license or the sales went poor.

Pity DH can't republish the Eclipse mini(s) in a tpb.

Yes. I mean it's not fantastic or anything, but it is better than at least 2 of the OAVs.

Yes, it was called Grand Mall.

First BGC was the best... cause that's the only one that kept my interest.

followed by Ad Police Files,
followed by the AD Police manga,
followed by Metal Skin Panic MADOX-01 (which for some reason is never listed as a prequel, even though the madox suit has been directly referenced),
followed by grand mal,
followed by Parasite Dolls,
followed by Bbblegum Crash,
followed by AD Police the series,
Followed by BGC2040, the worst of the bunch.......

BGC and its related spinoffs were my first favorite anime, and remained there for a long time...

Its still in my top 5, after Appleseed, GITS: SAC, Cowboy Bebop,

probably Spriggan

But it's only one film...... so I am re-evaluating it's position

Samurai Champloo may end up taking it's spot.


I am really fond of Black Lagoon

Coyote Ragtime was really good too.

Macross/Robotech was what started me out, but its become really hit or miss.

Liked Champloo a lot. Spriggan had some good action but I never thought it was super solid as a story.

Do want to see Black Lagoon but haven't yet and heard mixed things about Coyote Ragtime Show.

Which of the Macross series did you see? All of them?
