That''s a good method, but that store is a bunch of stinkers.....no window shopping? What, were you drooling?
In some ways, that and your method should help keep you out of trouble.

Meanwhile, sdsichero and I will tempt you on a regular basis here! :P

This appears to be the Gundam OO.....according to MAHQ.

Another big shoulders Gundam. Two GN generators for twice the O.

The Wing Zero Custom was on the table, waiting for me to figure out where to display it, as it got bumped off it's perch by the Ex-S and Freedom.

As it happens, Neva (that's our 1 year old daughter for the newer folks) has just learned that she can climb up our chairs. And that they provide really great access to the top of our table. And that daddy keeps some neat things up there.

Xavy (our 2.5 year old son) actually asked to call me at work to tell me that he had found it on the floor, but that he'd managed to pick up the pieces and gave them to mommy. No damage was permanent...got to love those nice no-glue snap fits...although the wing-pack assembly is a bit looser than before.

I'm still a bit stunned by how big the Ex-S is. Granted, most of its size is due to the boosters and fuel tanks for when it's in G-Cruiser more, but still...it's freaking huge.

I haven't had any problems personally with the store here, and I've browsed there just fine before. But I've seen some on-line comments about getting a poor reception.

Here's a rough size chart I recently did based on the numbers given at the Macross Mecha Site. I think it's interesting that the Frontier is a scaled up version of the Macross 7. That's not the actual image of the Frontier, but a dupe of the 7, since one is yet to be available. Same basic design and all.
The Macross Quarter, as the name implies is about a fourth the size of the original Macross, so that could around the size of the Uraga.

I may have to kill you in a painful manor..............

LEARN THE REAL NAMES!!!

Here................

The SDF-1 is really the SDF-1 Macross.
The rest don't come from Roboblechh land.

Veritechs are really called Variable Fighters and specifically were the VF-1 Valkyrie.

There's a long line of successors to the Valkyrie, but all are referred to generically as Valkyries.

The Alpha and Beta Fighters from later on in Roboblechh, were from Mospeada and were called Leigoss or Legioss. The Beta's were called Treads.

The Macross is from Macross.
The Megaroad 01 is from Macross - Flashback 2012.
The Uraga, Battle 7 and Macross 7 are all from Macross 7.
The Macross Frontier is from Macross Frontier as is the mentioned Macross Quarter.

sdsichero adn I will get you up to speed.

Yup, it looks big to me. Be glad you have no cats about.

Some stores do get a bad rep without deserving it.

I've got a better one then that, I have it as a desktop. It's the same image, but close up. I'm starting to think that the City F is scaled up compared to the City 7. The Battle F is perhaps the same size as the Battle 7.

That book looks sweet!

There are a number of books out there I'd love to get. I just saw one covering the works of the designer I'd like to get.
Miyatake Kazutaka Macross & Orguss Design Works
http://www.hlj.com/product/MOV01629

This would also be nice to have.
Macross Technical Guide
http://www.hlj.com/product/SOF32557

Then there's the books on Macross Plus and Macross 7.
Mecha and character designs.

That's cool... based on the videogames though.

I have the Macross Plus one (was it a This is Animation book? Sorry it's in a pile)... not the Macross 7 one though.

Was checking out the official site (http://www.macrossf.com) and noticed they added new mecha to their page. I just looked not a week ago and some of these were not there...

Wasn't that unofficial (though it was on some model boxes)?

Anyways:
Ground Effective Reinforcement of Winged Armament with Locomotive Knee-joint

(kinda like SHIELD in Iron Man). They had a weird acronym for Gundam on some model boxes too if I recall..
