(kinda like SHIELD in Iron Man). They had a weird acronym for Gundam on some model boxes too if I recall..

That Macross site will update from time to time as the series continues.

In Seed, Gundam was the acronym for several different OSes for the Mobile Suits as well as being the nickname of the specific line of MSes.

The book may be a This Is Animation Book. I have almost all of those for the original series and the DYRL movie.

I saw that about a month ago in some photos from one of the conventions over in Japan. The Godmars looks even cooler. It gets all six statues.

Both would look rather good her in the Cat-Scratch Household. :-D

You can keep the GodMars (nothing against it), but Raideen and Mazinger Z were the first bots I fell in love with... Getter came next. 8)

Thanks, but I like all of those.
For me, Getter G was the first classic robo show I saw, but thanks to Marvel, I saw Reideen first.

Luckily we had Mazinger Z, Raideen, Getter Robo, Getter Robo G, UFO Daiapollon and a bunch of other shows on TV (thanks KIKU-TV!)... Ah the good old days.

Sounds cool. Mazinkaiser was fine, but liked the original better (other than the animation)...

Promo for Macross All That VF Anime Short Streamed
posted on 2008-06-17 14:25 EDT
25th anniversary short to feature variable fighters from different Macross anime

The official Japanese website for the Macross Frontier science-fiction anime series has posted (in 1MB or 500KB bandwidth) a promotional video for "All That VF," a newly animated short film that will assemble the different transformable variable fighters from the history of the Macross anime franchise. "All That VF," like the Macross Frontier television series itself, marks the 25th anniversary of the first Macross series. The title is a reference to "All That Gundam," an animated video created just for an 1989 event that featured all the major mobile suit robots from the first 10 years of the Gundam anime franchise. The initial pressings of July's Macross Frontier volume 1 Blu-ray Disc and DVD and August's Macross Zero Blu-ray Disc Box will each include an ID code which will allow owners to access the complete anime short online.

A third episode of the Macross Fufonfia flash animated shorts has also been posted in 1MB or 500KB bandwidth. The spinoff net anime re-imagines the cast of Macross Frontier as Office Ladies (female company workers) at the Frontier Software game company.

I really want to see the full "All That VF"!

I freaking love Sailor Moon. I love other stuff, too, but Sailor Moon will forever fuel my nostalgic fervor for the anime genre.
