Never heard of this company...
One Peace Books to Re-release Crayon Shin-chan Manga in U.S.The North American publisher One Peace Books confirmed with ANN on Wednesday that it will release the first three volumes of Yoshito Usui's Crayon Shin-chan manga in the United States on October 15. The publisher also confirmed with ANN that it will release Variety Art Works' manga versions of Miguel de Cervantes' Don Quixote, F. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby, Herman Melville's Moby-Dick, James Joyce's Ulysses, and H.G. Wells' The War of the Worlds novels in its "Manga Classic Readers" series on September 1. These books are originally a part of East Press' Manga de Dokuha series. The Crayon Shin-chan volumes will sell for US$12.95 each, while the Manga Classic Readers volumes will be available for US$9.95 each.

Hope it doesn't follow the anime's lead in calling the mother "Mitzi" and such.
That's why I didn't buy the second company's translation of the manga.

Not bad. If you liked Black Lagoon, you'll like this one.
The girl is nuts... both come to think of it, but the main one more...

Kyoto to Host Anime, Manga Fair in SeptemberRepresentatives of the city of Kyoto revealed at a press conference on Wednesday that it will host the "Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair 2012" from September 21-23 at the Miyako Messe event hall and the Heian Jingu Shrine in Kyoto.
The event will have booths to introduce new works, and the Heian Jingu Shrine will host live events, voice actor and voice actress stage events, a CG anime contest, and will also sell merchandise. The event will focus on new works as well as discovering new talent. The event's goal is also boost collaboration between anime and manga companies from Tokyo and Kansai-area companies to create new works. For example, the event will sell anime and manga character goods as well as traditional handicrafts as souvenirs.
