If you don't have plans for it otherwise, then go for it. Or try to manage it so that if you can use it otherwise, they would let you publish it elsewhere.

3rd Yamato 2199 Film Slated for October 13

Yamato Crew, the official Space Battleship Yamato community, announced on Wednesday that the third Space Battleship Yamato 2199 film will run in 10 Japanese theaters from October 13 to October 26. The third film, titled Hateshinaki Kōkai (Endless Voyage), is composed of episodes 7 through 10 of this Space Battleship Yamato remake.

According to Yamato Crew, the third film will deal with contact with the Galamis (Gamilon) enemy and offer an original story that delves into areas that the first Space Battleship Yamato anime did not explore.
