Maybe I just grew past Spiderman and his teenage problems, that's why I'm not caring taht much from the trailer, like I've seen it too many times before.
Also I know, that it will probably be box office success and will be lightyears better than green lanter, which is not really hard thing to do. The trailer gives me the idea that it is well made at least, but I'm just talking about how green lantern was disregarded when talking about summer movies, people were talking how great xmen first class was, also captain america but nobody talks about the green lanter or if they did, just bashing them. They both give a red headed step child kinda vibe. maybe it's just my own prejudice against the movie

But nobody talks about Green Lantern because it sucked.
If it was good, people would've talked about it.
It's easy to look back now, but before First Class came out, people were pretty down on it.. it was basically the same thing as this now. The trailers helped, but it was only after it was out and people saw that it was actually good that it started getting a lot of hype. And ultimately, I would say even with that it was outshined by Thor and Cap last summer.
It's not really surprising that Avengers or Dark Knight would outshine a reboot with a brand new cast.
There's no real way around that. You kind of just have to let it prove itself once it's out and everyone sees it.
But apparently Sony people are not happy with it, either. So there you go.
Who knows. Personally, I think everyone should hope it's good. Because if it's not, or if it doesn't do well.. well, guess what? They might just say fuck it, not do a sequel and reboot it again in a couple years. And the cycle continues.
