I agree (mostly) with Strict. About the knife, not about the tigers. Tigers are hard to train and not very concealable. Lions work better I find. With a knife, should you choose to carry one, you need to practice getting it out, some basic cuts and lunges, and know about the laws in your state and municipality. But they can be a great equalizer.

Everyone knows from the empirical evidence that chainsaw beats katana, so what do you do then? I mean Ash is set up, except for those awkward masturbation sessions, but what about you?

Answer of course is carry the most you can and the law in your jurisdiction allows. In my case, that's a tactical nuke.

Katana is light and fast. Chainsaw is heavy and slow. Unless you've got the speed and coordination of a turtle (one that is not teenage mutant ninja), you've probably got a good chance dodging chainsaw blows and getting your slashes and strikes in with the katana.
