I'll check it out but only because I'm kind of a whore for anything Kevin Smith.

Most reality shows are. Its why I dont normally watch them. I'm only gonna give this a shot because it has Kevin Smith.

Yup. Perfect background bullshit.

All they're doing is buying useless bullshit and laughing about it. If these guys actually did something it might be worth watching.

These guys just make me sad.

I watched, thought it was ok but nothing special. The best part was the other guys making fun of Ming, they gave that guy a ton of shit  I'll continue to watch mainly because there is nothing else on after TWD goes off on Sunday nights anyway, it's good for background noise while playing on the computer.

I didn't care for it. I can take or leave Kevin Smith and the rest of the guys aren't likeable or entertaining for the matter.

Im sad you all dislike it. I enjoyed it. Different strokes for different folks.

Rest assured, if actual comic book fans aren't liking it, its as good as canceled. No regular people will get it. Sucks for me :-/

They actually debated that? Warning enough for me to stay far away from it.

Sadly enough, they really did capture the nature of most of the customers who come into comic book stores looking to sell their stuff. Like the lady with the life size Chucky doll who wanted a ridiculous amount of money for something she bought at Spencer's or the guy who had his Dawn of the Dead memorabilia handcuffed to himself. These people are really deluded, they believe that they have gold mines and nothing these guys say is going to change their minds.

I actually enjoyed the show though. I don't know if I will watch it every week but it reminded me of the time when I used to work in a comic store. Oh, and as far as the comic heroine "debate" is concerned, they really didn't spend very much time talking about it. They just asked the question and then went around the table saying who their favorite was. Its a show called Comic Book Men, eventually they are going to have conversations about comic books.

I wish it was less formulaic and more "real".

Most of the scenes felt like setups or scripted.

Show fans in the store, listen to them, make them the stars of the show not the other guys. I mean do all the guys in the store HAVE to wear a stupid store t-shirt with the logo on it?

My local comic store has a better personalities/atmosphere than this show did.

Felt like I was watching Pawn Stars with the occasional radio roundtable show.

It felt forced and that annoyed me.

I don't like reality shows like this. The whole thing feels forced and they usually confuse 'personality' with being a dick.
However, Liefeld is an enigma wrapped in a pouch-filled, muscular, footless conundrum.
