i am. im not sure why some deaths hit more with the media than others. I'm whitnied out. I hadn't thought about her in yrs and yrs. im not that interested.

My mom directed me to an article online where people were talking about how they were in "shock nd disbelief" over this. Really? If anyone bothered to think about Whitney Houston, I can't believe that they would view her as such an unlikely candidate for early death. I mean, saddened, mildly depressed, I guess if you're a fan. But who was sitting around last week saying "You know that Whitney Houston is a picture of good health. I'll bet she lives to be 90." Come on.

Maybe they were in shock and disbelief that she was still alive in the first place.

I haven't thought about about Whitney Houston in 15 years.

So I'm not spending much time thinking about her now. I never liked her music, so I'm not going to like it now.

Sorry for her family and all, but other than that, I don't care.

She's a drug addict and it appears that she killed herself.

Whitney Houston's death didn't affect me so much for losing her specifically (never a big fan) as it did losing someone who was ever-present during my teen years and was only eight years older than myself. I guess I'm at that age now where I'm going to start seeing people dying more often now.
