He was most famous for his stories involving his creations such as Doom Patrol, Deadman, and Stanley & his Monster and for his long stint writing the comic book stories of Bob Hope and Jerry Lewis. Also, he co-created It Rhymes With Lust, a precursor to the graphic novel, with Leslie Waller and Matt Baker and won the first Bill Finger Award.
