Would YOU like to...not really get much in return, other than my own personal thanks and hand jobs from Xaraan?

Then YOU can let me know what shows YOU'd like to cover for The Outhouse's Front Page TODAY (or whenever your show starts)!

TV recapping is a great way to work on your writing, organizing your thoughts, and sharing your insights into art and media with the world.

Interested?

Here's what's required:

Dedication to watching a show every week when broadcast and writing up a cogent, thoughtful analysis of the show. More than just a plot summary, make sure to provide themes, what works and what doesn't work (and why), and your thoughts on how each episode fits into the overall narrative of the show. Anything else you'd like to do within your recap is totally up to you.

We have some shows ready for coverage, but we'd always love more.

I'm currently covering Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy, we have Keb covering Person of Interest, hopefully e_galston will bring back his Gleeviews, plus The Resident and Dr. Improbably will providing us with recaps of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. The Resident may be returning to cover Once Upon a Time as well.

We could use recaps of more "geek" shows, such as The Walking Dead, Revolution, Doctor Who, Arrow, and others. But you can cover anything you want on television. It's completely up to you (unless someone else has already claimed a show). I know BlueStreak has also pledged to take something on this upcoming television season. We have access to screeners for certain shows on the ABC family of networks, and the possibility exists for other networks too.

So what say YOU, Outhouse? Do YOU have what it takes to join the Outhouse Writing Staff and cover the wide world of television?

I wanted to take on Sons of Anarchy as it is my absolute favorite show ever but it's already taken so I guess I will pass.

I have done movie reviews in the past, and I do watch a lot of TV, so I could do it. But I usually don't catch them when they're first shown. I usually watch them on my DVR.

Also do we have to keep going with the shows already being reviewed? Cause I do watch Person of Interest, but I don't watch Sons of Anarchy. (It just doesn't interest me.) Also I don't get HBO or Showtime if that's a problem.

I was going to offer to recap Arrow when it started but I just found out that Cablevision has taken CW off the air. If it comes back before the show starts, I would like to do this.

I'd do Newsroom if there wasn't only 1 episode left.

Once they return, I'd take: Top Gear & Arrested Development.

Before that I can do Craig Ferguson's return next week.

Only one more episode? For some reason I thought it was a total of 13 episodes. :-(

I cap my OH pieces at 700-900 words but it's up to whoever is the boss.

I could review the more "geek" shows. I watch Doctor Who and The Walking Dead. I also planned on watching Arrow. (admittingly I read one of the paragraphs wrong at the top, and I thought you needed people to review those shows. Heh.)

I plan on bringing back Gleeviews, just hard to know exactly what day they'll get done since i currently seem to be spending half the month at home and half the month in laurel, md.
