So NBC just canceled AWAKE. For anyone who was a fan this is horrible news! NBC loves producing shows that require no thought process. Once every few years we get a great show with excellent actors, intriguing plot and before you know it…it’s canceled. Awake was one of these rare shows. Don’t let this be like Journeyman! A similar show which was canceled before its time. We never got an explanation as to the story line and NBC still refuses to release it on home media. So as of today, May 12, 2012, I am starting a NBC boycott. The channel as a whole will be ignored in my household until AWAKE is renewed for a new season. Check online for updates for a possible renewal and check for scheduling to see if NBC will finish out this season or if it’s gone completely. Fans/supporters need to let their voice be heard.

Meh the show was uninteresting, and I never cared about any of the storylines week from week.

Pretty sure NBC doesn't care if you boycott it unless you're a Nielsen household. If you're not, you have zero bearing on the ratings.

Also.. the ratings for this were incredibly low. First episode had 6.2 million viewers.. the last episode had 2.5 (although it seems to have leveled in that region for the past two months or so)

Two and a half million viewers for a network show is a tough sell.

I doubt any amount of boycotting will save this, unless each and every one of those 2.5 mil viewers boycots.

I saw the first episode and it was very good, but I didn't bother with the rest because I figured it'd get cancelled.

Network TV has gotten to bad with these things you can usually tell what's going to get canned before it even airs. Too bad.

I don't watch any Network shows. Good ones get cancelled; bad ones stay on the air forever.

You could tell this was getting cancelled before an episode even aired. I didn't bother, haven't since NBC dicked over Journeyman and Life.

I just watched the finale. What a great ending for a show that got cancelled too soon.

It leaves things open, but it also works as an ending that ties things up. Stupid NBC. As if you have any other shows worth watching.
