And it's not something you learn but living in NY, I'm kind of ashamed I've never been to the Statue of Liberty, Coney Island or the top of the Empire State Building. I never went to the top of the Twin Towers either before they fell and now never will be able to

fixing anything on my car beyond pumping gas, checking (not changing) the oil, jump-starting the battery, and/or changing a tire.

yep, there's another one i can't do. in my defense, i've always beena words/language guy though...art, spatial relationships, shapes, anything like that has never been my thing.
