Postby Zechs » Thu Oct 13, 2011 2:52 am

Just wanted to post some facts since they don't need to be Loltroned at this point. But the anticipation just aggravating? I want it to be next week already!!

and of course...

#1 There are Four Boss Fights in the Game

- Mr. Freeze (confirmed)

#2 Side Quests
- Riddler
- Zssaz
- Bane (go throughout Arkham City finding numerous Titan crates and the final part of the sidequest has you teaming up with Bane himself).
- Deadshot (going throughout Arkham City and stopping Floyd from completing his hit list.)

#3 Exclusive Characters

- Catwoman (in buying the game. However if you buy a used copy you're going to have to buy her on the PSN or X-Box Live network).
- Robin (exclusive to Best Buy)
- ? Possibly Nightwing (unknown at the moment how to unlock him.)

#4 Confirmed Characters

Batman, Joker, Catwoman, Hugo Strange, Harley Quinn, Penguin, Mr. Freeze, Bane, Solomon Grundy, Deadshot, Mr. Zssaz, Black Mask, Two-Face, Poison Ivy, Calender Man, the Mad Hatter, Talia Al Ghul, Alfred, Oracle, Jack Ryder, Commissioner Gordon, and the Riddler.

There are still even more characters rumored to be in the game not released yet.

It would be better if these "Exclusives" were included on the disk rather then having to download them. Not all of us have our 360's/ps3's hooked up to the interwebs.

Sucks Robin is a Best Buy exclusive. Crap like that pisses me off. But yeah, I don't have a PS3 but I enjoy playing or watching these be played at a friend's place. The design for Robin looks really cool. I saw it for the first time last night while watching UFC.

Robin will only be exclusive to BB for I think it was 3 months.

When he goes on PSN/Live he'll cost $6.99. Same with Nightwing.

I have my copy on reserve from Best Buy. Darcie, Mammon and I are all pretty pumped for this game.

I'm more interested in playing as Nightwing then Robin

I pre-ordered it via Best Buy so yeah I get the Robin DLC as well. But really I just want to play it via the Red Robin costume.

This is the first game that makes me want to buy a console system so I can play it.

I'm watching the Gamespot video review right now and I have to say that I think I can stand to wait a little while for this one. It looks like a lot of fun but it also looks just like the first one expect for a different setting. Same combat system, same graphics, same detective vision, etc. It almost makes you wonder why it took so long to produce. I'll definitely pick it up but I think I'm going to wait for Skyrim first. I do love the disrupter though (although I don't know how one can electronically disrupt a purely mechanical device). Gun toting thugs were always the biggest pain in the ass in the first game.

Yeah, I'm thinking I just may have to dig a little deeper and get both.
Maybe I'll just get Batman tomorrow and then get Uncharted when I finish it.

Uh, yeah.. it's a sequel. You don't completely change something that works.

It's getting ridiculously good reviews, though.

So Best Buy had the Robin DLC exclusive, and Gamestop has the Joker's Carnival DLC and Batman:TAS skin exclusive?
