I'm kidding. And my other post was meant as a joke, too.
But on a more serious note: I find it hard to believe that so many posters here can't or won't see the homosexual and pederastic undertones in Batman? The comics aren't about Batman trying to repress gay urges through violent crime fighting. That's not what people are suggesting when they question Batman's sexuality. Rather, what they're noting is that writers, artists, and actors have frequently incorporated blatant homosexual innuendos into the Batman stories.
As sdsichero said, I didn't notice these things in Bert and Ernie either. Then again, penis' are abound in The Little Mermaid, and Simba makes sex clouds because the animators were having some secret fun, so those things could well be projected upon Batman by the creative staff.
I don't think it's a leap to see those innuendos, either. A grown man parading around in tights with a young teenage boy in really short shorts--it is certainly suggestive of a certain type of sexual relationship. And it's become such a cliche that SNL has parodied the relationship with their characters the Ambiguously Gay Duo.
The AGD from SNL are hilarious, but I don't think the Funhouse crew has ever read an actual comic book. It's just Wertham hysteria taken to the extreme. Then there's the thing about super-heroes and short shorts. It's just the artist's simplified interpretation for the hips, rather than draw the bones, joints and then the muscles on top.

Everyone's got Short-Shorts!
