Earlier today I made the comment that I didn't think that Walt, Skyler, and the kids were all going to die. I'm still not 100% convinced that they will all die but the beginning of the episode certainly seems to imply that some of Walt's family doesn't make it out of this. It was so surreal to see the White family's house in that condition. Hell, that house has been an important part of this series and seeing it like that was like seeing another cast member lying dead as a result of Walt's destructive path. This may have been Dean Norris' best performance on this show to date. When he was having it out with Walt at the end of the episode, you could see every emotion that you would expect Hank to be having at that moment. I had chills. You literally didn't know who was walking out of that garage and it was incredible. |

Jesse going off the rails (again) has kinda gotten tiring to watch but it's equally well done and gave us Badger's Star Trek script ![]() And the last 10 minutes... wow. The conviction in Hank's eyes made you BELIEVE. And Walt playing it off with classic Heisenberg mannerisms and watching Hank react to them and totally shift emotions was brilliant. Simply a brilliant ep....what else can I say? |

But he's not so much off the rails as sick of all the terrible shit he's been a part of. I wouldn't be surprised to see Hank and Jesse team up. |

Don't you think, after all the shots we've seen of Lydia and her stevia, that the poison might come in handy later? ![]() |

Besides, Walt is clearly preparing to go to war. He wants every weapon that he has at his disposal. The poison probably gives him peace of mind, unless it's part of his own exit strategy... |
