As my post stated, it's a show that's produced out-of-house, so it ends up being less profitably for them. Happens all the time.

And that is supposed to make fans of the show feel better?

It would be nice if another network did pick up the show. Certainly has a built in following.

And yeah, at least they did get to what happened to Walt's wife. And Henry's situation got resolved. Be good to know what happened to Branch, though.

No, but it's the nature of the business. Networks want to keep productions more in-house, so they don't have to share the profits.

Do you have some point to posting this sort of stuff? Something you are trying to accomplish?

You know, for someone who purports to be smart, you sure seem to be anti-knowledge lately.

- Not wanting to hear about the elements of comics people don't like is being "adult".

- Pointing out the reasons why a network would cancel a program, no matter how popular, must mean you have some ulterior motive.

Finding out such things adds to understanding. Why are you trying to ignore that they exist??

It sounds like this was one of the cases where the ratings of the program didn't match the profit margin.

Not only is the show owned by someone else, but, as mentioned, it's scripted TV, which is more expensive than unscripted (read: "reality TV", aka "Throw a bunch of non-acting people in a contrived, UNreal situation, and film the results.")

And yeah, we've seen this "Owned by someone else = We gotta PAY for it??!! = Get rid of it!!" routine before. Cartoon Network's done it to the DC shows and anime off and on for years now.

I hope Hulu, Netflix or Amazon pick it up. It's a great show.

It's just what he does. Try mentioning the Legion of Superheroes in another thread. That'll keep him busy.

You don't HONESTLY believe "reality tv" isn't scripted tv, do you?

Oh, I'm sure the contestants are COACHED on what to say and do. But let's face it, most of the people on reality shows wouldn't pass muster as actors, able to be professional, memorize lines, and follow an actual script. And that's including many of the ones TRYING to become actors. :P

Loved the first two seasons. Third season was still good, Branch going nuts was great but I didn’t really look forward to watching. :smt102 Still sucks though, I did like how it ended.

I really enjoyed this show. It had a unique feel to it and didn't become boring even though it was technically a "solve a crime a week" type show.

I guess we'll never see Ferg finally explode. And I hope Robert Taylor and Katee Sackhoff get some good, new projects.

Sarah Connor Chronicles was ended too soon. I never found out how see time traveled to Game of Thrones.
