In response to the outcry from fans, both DC and Cartoon Network released a joint statement on the cancellation of the two programs.
Ever since the revelation hit earlier this week that Cartoon Network wouldn't renew both Young Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series, fan outcry has been rampant on the net. No doubt to quell the rampant fire, DC Comics and Cartoon Network released this statements via their respective Facebook pages:
“Thank you to all our fans for expressing just how much they love DC Nation on Cartoon Network. There’s still more new Young Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series to enjoy in the coming weeks. And DC Nation isn’t going anywhere; there will be plenty of new adventures coming your way later this year.”
If any more news develops stay tuned for further updates. New episodes of both shows will continue airing (unless of course CN pulls them AGAIN) until possibly early April. After that, first Teen Titans Go! will be debuting that month, with Beware the Batman arriving sometime in the summer to round out the "new" DC Nation hour long block.
