PR: Disney to Release “Brother Bear,” “Hunchback of Notre Dame,” “Mulan,” and “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” on Blu-ray on March 12, 2013

Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has announced the following Blu-rays slated for release on March 12, 2013:

• Who Framed Roger Rabbit: 25th Anniversary Edition
• Mulan & Mulan II: 15th Anniversary Edition – 2 Movie Collection
• The Hunchback of Notre Dame & The Hunchback of Notre Dame II – 2 Movie Collection
• Brother Bear & Brother Bear 2 – 2 Movie Collection

Disney’s “Planes” going theatrical

Disney has decided to chase after Dreamworks’ Turbo next summer with its movie “Cars-inspired” movie: Planes. Disney has just announced it will release this film theatrically on August 9th, 2013. Originally designed to go direct-to-DVD, Planes will now play in theatres all over the U.S. with Jon Cryer is voicing the lead plane, “Dusty”; Klay Hall (Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure), an aviator himself, is directing.

Care Bears: Welcome to Care-a-Lot - The New 2012 Series is Coming to DVD Soon!

On March 5th Lionsgate Entertainment will release Care Bears: Welcome to Care-a-Lot - Totally Sweet Adventures, the first DVD from the brand new 2012 series that launched on The Hub this past summer. This single-disc (88 minutes) release will cost $14.98 SRP, and for that price you'll get 4 episodes ("Emerald Bridge," "Jealous Tea," "Sad About You," "Lazy Susan") and a bonus Share and Care Sing-Along.

Yeah not sure about that. Looks like Bird's next two films are 1906 and 1952. Not really sure what those are... but wiki has some info on 1906:

Pretty sure Bird is not going to push it for an I2 he has at least respect for the film and John Lasseter has been good about only letting Brad run its future.
