Ubisoft and Sony Pictures Entertainment announced today that they’ve partnered to turn the video game and TV sensation The Rabbids into a hybrid live-action and animated feature-length film.

Disney Interactive is making a move into sponsored content. They recently launched It’s a Small World: The Animated Series, an eight-episode group of Web shorts that is sponsored by language instruction company Rosetta Stone and their new children’s app Lingo Word Builder. To date the episodes have been presented on Disney.com, Disney’s YouTube channels, and across Disney’s connected TV apps.
Dark Horse Comics and Nickelodeon are expanding their incredibly successful publishing partnership to include a wide range of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra collectable items. These brand-new products ranging from figures to plush will debut at International Toy Fair in New York February 2014, and will be released in May.
This new program extends the success of the certified best-selling Dark Horse art books and graphic novels, based on the work of series creators and executive producers Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino, into the realm of collectable products.
A full list of products in development include: limited-edition statues, figurines, and busts, as well as, featured plush, drinking glasses, cups, coffee mugs, coaster sets, magnets, playing cards, badges, pins, lunch boxes, sculptural pins, among other items.
The Spectacular Spider-Man looks to be finally getting a Complete Series collection, coming to Blu-ray in the near future.
While Sony have yet to put out an official press release about the set, it is now available as a pre-order on Amazon with a release date of April 22nd. That date makes sense, as it would be just a couple of weeks before the release of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, and studios often release catalog titles relating to characters who have a big movie coming out, to capitalize on the accompanying hype.
for TV series that have the continuity driven stories I recomend Justice League and especially Justice League Unlimited aka JLU. Time Warner's Turner Animation president and chief operating officer Stu Snyder will leave his position at the end of the month. Snyder has overseen Cartoon Network and Time Warner's animation division for six years. No replacement is named at this time.

The intergalactic adventure revolves around an overly optimistic (yet inept) alien race called the Boov, who invade Earth in an attempt to escape their mortal enemy, hoping to make this hiding spot their new home. But one resourceful girl named Tip (Rihanna) escapes the Boov’s relocation efforts and teams up with a banished Boov named Oh (Jim Parsons) to save the race after he accidentally clues the bad guys into the Boov’s whereabouts.
