Venom with square teeth? That's brilliant. Never seen him live up to his beefy bad guy image as with him with square teeth. Awesome

Since it's the "Mar Adv" version, I tried to clean him up just a little. No fangs, lost the 3 ft long doggy tongue...

I don't really like it now, but it was fun to try something a bit different.

Can't really offer crits, cham. You know I would if I saw something, but those are some nice pages and sketches.

I don't like the square teeth on Venom, although I'm glad you removed the 3 foot long tongue. Hardly a crit since it was a choice.

Oh, and that Galactus piece is awesome.

What I like about your style is that it looks 'classic'. It takes me back to Silver Age style comics, but it's not mired in it.

I've yet to be completely happy with a full page of my inks. There's always something that sticks out and drives me nutz. :evil:

This is one of my better half pages. Had fun attempting Kirby Crackles (Krackles?)...

The artwork a looks very good! I do like the way you have a sort of kenetic feeling that really shows up on the Silver Surfer there. In other words, the way that movement sort of stretches the character in the direction they are heading, especially in his expression.

And the previous Galactus does have a very nice Silver Age look. I think it's his stance.

Oh, and the only criticism I can lay on the Kirby Crackles (with a C, just cause I hate illiteration games) is that they don't seem to have a definite origin. If it's supposed to be Galactus' hand, why does it seem to be heading - in the same direction - from outside the panel above the hand? Not that I could give you better ballistics of it, it just seems to be slightly lacking.

But I really like the art!

I love the movement in the Surfer piece. I don't particularly see anything wrong with the was you did the Kirby dots seeing as how the piece still needs to be colored.

Awesome stuff Cham. Can't give you professional comments like these other damn artists, but I can say it looks great. I love your Silver Surfer. Is that from MA Fantastic Four (BUYITNOW!)? He's probably my favorite comics character. If we ever meet up at a convention, you're so doing a Silver Surfer sketch for me!

Yes, but for you Surf's gonna be wearing a Metallica T-shirt...from the Load, no...Reload era.

As far as the crackles go...Galactus isn't really blasting Surfer. He's supposed to be taking away his ability to cosmic surf, which leaves Surfer confined to Earth. Think Superman 2 when he's being drained of his super powers and the energy is kinda flowing all around him. The picture in my mind was of blinding cosmic energy with only Galactus' fingers showing through to show that his whole hand is engulfed in the energy and also it's source.

Still, I'm not totally happy with it either so thanks for the comments and crits and I'll do better next time!
