I was being facetious...I was born and raised in Palm Beach County, Florida. ;-)

Plus, even if I WASN'T, with time served in active duty (especially at wartime) I'd be made a citizen easily.

If you weren't, I don't think you'd have been able to enlist at all. Although military service as a prerequisite for citizenship for able bodied individuals isn't a bad idea.

Bah, too much hijacking.

The Military actually allows certain people from other nations to enlist and serve time as active duty personnel (they must be thoroughly researched first, however) and it allows them to get on the fasttrack to US Citizenship. I served with a guy from Peru and went to boot camp with a guy from Guatemala.

I like that idea. I knew an officer candidate who went through hell to receive clearance because a detailed investigation of her naturalization.

I got 95 percent. I got the Susan B. Anthony question wrong.

It's all because I'm a macho pig, lulled into stupidy and callous indifference by the patriarchy.

I got a 90%. Thought Scalia was Chief Justice and I know there are 27 amendments but wasn't sure if they counted the Bill For Rights, whatever.
