I'd rather the slow pace, otherwise within the first episode they're suited and booted and then it's just throwing them into situations from then on. I'd rather the scene was more slowly set, like it is. Two episodes in, I think I watch this show now.

I know I have complained. But I agree with you. Most shows (2 hour pilots) would have 30 minutes set before they get their powers, 30 minutes of them receiving their powers and learning to understand them, then 60 minutes of them kicking ass. Not even a little realistic. It is a somewhat different spin that they don't even know they have powers.
