A few free comics that weren't a part of Marvel's 700 program are currently free:

I have Ultimate X-Men #29 and #30 up for grabs before I get in my haul for the month. If anyone is interested, it's the start of the new World War X storyline.

Sounds interesting. Sign me up.

By the way, do you think the Ultimate line is coming to an end?

It sure looks like it from the recent solicitations.

I'm kind of sad to see it all go away. I loved Millar's Ultimates and the first trades of Bendis Ultimate Spider-Man.

For awhile I was buying every Ultimate book that was put out. Through time the books lost the talent and the regular Marvel Universe became more and more like the Ultimate Universe. It's had a good run for an alternate universe. 13 years is pretty impressive.

2099 was probably the previous record holder for alternate universe longevity, and that only lasted 5 years, right?
