I'm not a big fan of fan-art of fan-fic really, it's all just waste of time and potential, where people could be working on their own stuff, rather than just making Iron Man and Captain America make out.

And are you saying your body is art? :P

This is how most fetishes start Punch.

If you keep this up I see you working at Euro-Disney as you near retirement.

Don't mind birches dressing up for cons. Don't even mind if they're just doing it because its an excuse to dress up. What pisses me of is when they complain about guys ogling them. They should understand that these characters are drawn to have sex appeal for their mostly male audience, so dressing in tights and booty shorts is going to get them attention. Its like dressing up to go to a club. There are going to be nice guys and dumb guys. Deal with it. Stop trying to castrate the male comic reader community.

Agreed. Can't wear one of those Pink Lantern costumes, and expect no one to stare at you.

He called some new breed lames on their bullshit, and they got all butthurt because somebody told them something other than "you are a unique and beautiful snowflake full of awesome wonderfulness and everything you do is specially uniquely wonderful and perfect." Boo-fucking-hoo...life's rough, wear a fucking helmet.

I think this bit is very pertinent, why is everyone such a reactionary crybaby these days?

I blame Twitter.

The REAL question is, why do you and Harris care SOOOOOO much about other people being in costume??

Does the mere existence of ladies dressed up like Power Girl threaten your lives and families?? :smt102

No, of course not, but I still hate it.

Does the DC reboot threaten your life? No, but you still don't like it.

I KNEW you were gonna say that! :P

To answer your question: The reboot keeps me from getting more stories about the REAL DC characters. Whereas various women in Catwoman outfits only momentarily deprive you of the ability to keep your eyes in your head. :P

So really, what's the problem with the following people??

Here's what really bothers me about this idiotic rant. In a misguided attempt to defend 'real fans' from poseurs, his incredible overreaction has just embarrassed said real fans. As a comic reader, I don't want to be associated with this troglodyte's insanity. His overly broad generalizations are not only insulting to the women he hates, but it makes the people he's defending look bad, too. All we need to complete the image is him holding a beer in one hand and scratching his crotch with the other as he says "Amirite, fellas?" That's why there's been such a massive backlash. You can't simply write him off as harmless because he's insulting everyone.
