As far as the Avengers go...

The main team is the team with Cap/Thor/Iron Man. I figured after a big battle they would want to "stack the team" so to speak with the big guns. She Hulk and Vision just cause i love them. I figured Songbird would finally graduate to the big leagues, and its always good to see a "rookie" along the big guns. Scott would be the team's Ant-Man, and some how during the 1 year gap Janet would be found alive.

With the New Avengers they'd pretty much be the "street team" hence not having that much power. They'd be based in the Mansion

Secret Avengers would pretty much be how it is now, i figured they would want to keep Wanda a "secret" from the general public.

Avengers Academy would be just how it is now. I added Firebird to round out the "full time teachers." Plus her ties to the West Coast team and Hank..

Avengers International is just that the international team, not everyone in the roster would be active at all times.

I figured after AvX people like Spider Man and Daredevil will have gotten sick of fighting their friends,and ninjas and The Hood so they'd go to the reserves. There are no X-men on any of the teams, do to the fight.

None - because at the end of AvX, all mutants die horrible deaths (except for Beast, Quicksilver, Wanda, Doug Ramsey, Franklin, Leech & Unus who escape the massacre because they're the only muties I like).

One year later the X-Men/Avengers relationship is strained to the breaking point, there are hard feelings on both side.

In the hope of repairing the relationship the Avengers and X-Men decided a joint team is the best fix.

OYL... the Phoenix has restarted mutations, the Avengers have gone up against the Imperial Guard and the Scarlet Witch is almost completely depowered.

Avengers

The Avengers-Cap,Iron Man,Thor, Songbird, Ms. "Captain Marvel", Black Panther, Vision (rebuilt with Stark weaponry), Scarlet Witch. The Earth's main line of defense. The big guns.

Avengers: Underground - Luke Cage, Spider-Man, Hawkeye, Hercules (still depowered, but has magical help), Daredevil, Rick Jones (with Chuck-like cosmic awareness). More like the "neighborhood watch", they defend against the smaller, but still debilitating threats.

Secret Avengers - After their return through time and almost screwing over the world in the Phoenix fight, the Thunderbolts program is scrapped. However, a shadow cell of the government recruits them. No one knows, blackmail keeps them in line, they complete the missions that the other teams can't (or won't). Moonstone, Fixer (no longer enjoying a special status with the team), Terminus, Hyde, Satanna, Boomerang, Ghost, Troll (with Quake and the new Fury as Mission Control)

Avengers Academy - Pretty much the same. Pym, Valkyrie, Quicksilver and Photon are the teaching staff/reserve Avengers. The student body is the same but Iron Lad, Patriot and Charcoal also appear.

Space Avengers -(working title). First line of defense against extraterrestrial threats. Hulk, Silver Surfer, Moondragon, Phyla, Starlord, Rocket Raccoon, Agent Brand, Warlock and Nova.

Thought it would be good to have recognizable (TV, movie characters, etc) on each team instead of just one. (Black Widow is the supporting cast in the Winter Soldier solo book) I'll be back later with the X books...
