Day 2 @ SDCC

We embarked on morning two with higher hopes than the night before.
I had my first interview/experience line up with Coma Conspiracy, that's going to air on A&E in the fall. They said I high high potential for being a future coma patient and then branded me their own. The snipits of show they played seemed right up my alley filled with blood, guts, and mystery.

Soon I found a famished Xaraan gnawing on a piece of zombie nose, got some lunch, and went to the next interview with Oni Press' Brahm Revel. After meeting Brahm and talking about his newest creation, GUERILLAS (Yes that's the spelling!) Vol. 2, I realized that I found Lord Simian's true soul mate. I've got his number number when you're ready Sim
With some time to kill, I stopped by SyFy Hollywood Treasure's booth and was unsuccessful in stealing Professor X's chair. Did I ever mention I have a thing for Xavier? Named my youngest son middle name after him.
So after security and I "worked" out our misunderstanding, I headed over to Erick Powell's booth for a sit down. Poor guy had no idea we had an interview and was about to leave and crash for the night. He was nice enough to stay and divulge his deepest and darkest secrets after I gently put him in a head lock.
With some impromptu interviews thrown into the mix, and lastly collecting Xaraan from the childcare before I had to pay an extra 5 bucks, we headed home early to recover.

By the end of the first full day I was damn near crippled. My most comfortable shoes were despised and hated and I was tempted to buy a couple of plush dolls of whatever was handy and duck tape them to my feet. I saw Tralfaz and didn't even realize, dude had a cane and all I could think about was stealing his cane. Angela was right the other day when she said everyone was pretty cool about running into people and being friendly. It kept me from killing someone when the hundredth backpack banged into me or my camera. (Yes, we know, everyone needs bags of some type, but you aren't fucking going into the wilderness for a week, you don't need a god damn military rucksack taking up the room of an additional person)

I'm glad you had (some amount of) fun, but these don't make me ever want to attend sdcc.

Take a rucksack yourself and hit them back if they don't apologize.

Sorry, but I honestly hear the Simpsons theme looking at you Xaraan. Also... smile! Why so serious?

Could you get a way with one of those scooter chairs?

Yea, we joked that we should do one of Jude's vs column on our experience since it was so opposite.

I wish I was more like Angela, but I tend to stress over events, especially when I'm doing any sort of work for them and really don't realize I had some fun until afterwards. I'm also not real social with people I don't know, so I'm not one to walk up to creators and chit chat if I don't really know them from somewhere. Where as angela will talk to anyone, I had to drag her away from the L Ron Hubbard dead eyed cult booth even. I'm also not star struck, so I don't give a crap about getting someone's signature or picture with them. It would be cool if we were actually hanging out to have a pic, but just stopping someone for a picture with them is weird idea to me. And autograph wise, I would get one if I had a particular book or something by someone I wanted, but the people paying to get a signature by TV stars blows my mind.

Dude, I was seriously considering stealing one from someone at the end of the day. Angela was doing more interviews, so she got to sit and I kept walking around getting pics and handing cards out and stuff so was on my feet almost non stop, carrying my fat butt around + 50+ pounds of crap for camera and stuff.
