For once, a wild rumor about a DC movie is true.

Guillermo del Toro confirmed that he was working on a Justice League Dark style movie featuring Swamp Thing, Constantine, Deadman and Zatanna.  According to an IGN interview with the director, Warner Bros. is in the process of hiring a scriptwriter for the project, which is tentatively titled Dark Universe. 

In the interview, del Toro mentions that in addition to the characters mentioned above, he'd like to incorporate the Demon and the Spectre into the script as well.  del Toro declined to comment further on the script, but noted that WB was attempting to make a cohesive universe that would work with the upcoming Man of Steel film, which DC hopes will set the tone for future superhero offerings.

Well yeah, I was assuming that it would be made, but I am aware that that isn't a certainty.

Del Toro won't talk about the the plot just yet, but he said that Warner Bros "feels very very confident with what they have there" with Superman: Man of Steel and that they are full steam ahead with development of more DC Comics movies.
