			<title>Free Ultraviolet and digital copy movies</title>
			<link>http://www.theouthousers.com/forum/the-asylum/free-ultraviolet-and-digital-copy-movies-t87694.html</link>

			<description>&#x3C;h5&#x3E;&#x3C;a href="http://www.theouthousers.com/forum/the-asylum/" title="The Asylum"&#x3E;The Asylum&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/h5&#x3E;

&#x3C;b&#x3E;Free Ultraviolet and digital copy movies&#x3C;/b&#x3E;

Anyone familiar with my Marvel digital codes thread should know how this works. I buy movies and TV show box sets a lot. I buy them on a weekly basis. I have lots of unused codes for Ultraviolet and digital copies of these movies. I want to give them to you guys for free. That's right, for free! Every time I buy a new movie or box set I will post the codes in this thread. First come first served. Simply quote my post and tell me which code you want. I will PM you the code and the download url as soon as possible. I will only give out one code per person each time I post. This is strictly for people that have posted on this board more than a handful of times.

In the meantime I have lots of codes to start handing out in the next few days. I will be starting off today with four codes for four different TV shows. I will post these sometime between 5 and 6PM eastern time today. If this goes over well I may even put some codes for movies up today.

Just beware my movie tastes might seem shitty to you. It's a good thing I don't care what you think or embarrass easily. &#x3C;img src="http://www.theouthousers.com/forum/images/smilies/003.gif" alt=":-D" title="" /&#x3E;

What the hell is Ultraviolet?

Content consumers create a free-of-charge UltraViolet account, either through a participating UltraViolet service provider, or through the UltraViolet website, with six accounts allowed per household. An UltraViolet account provides access to a Digital Rights Locker where licenses for purchased content are stored and managed irrespective of the point of sale. The account holder may register up to 12 devices for streaming and/or downloading for transfer onto physical media (e.g. DVDs, SD cards, flash memory). Once downloaded, an UltraViolet file can be played on any UltraViolet player registered to the household account, but it will not play on devices which are not compatible with UltraViolet. Files can also be streamed over the Internet. Up to three streams can be simultaneously transmitted. Compatible devices include set-top boxes as well as Internet-enabled devices such as computers, game consoles, Blu-ray players, Internet TVs, smartphones, and tablets.

&#x3C;b&#x3E;Mark Waid is MAAADDD About Man of Steel (SPOILERS)&#x3C;/b&#x3E;

&#x3C;img style="margin: 5px; float:left;" src="http://www.theouthousers.com/images/templates/thumbnails/122685//man_of_steel_size1.jpg" alt="Mark Waid is MAAADDD About Man of Steel (SPOILERS)" title="Mark Waid is MAAADDD About Man of Steel (SPOILERS)" /&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;The hot-headed comic book writer posted a scathing review of the movie on the Thrillbent blog.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;div class="hrClear"&#x3E;&#x3C;hr&#x3E;&#x3C;/div&#x3E;&#x3C;br /&#x3E;&#x3C;em&#x3E;Source: &#x3C;a href="http://thrillbent.com/blog/man-of-steel-since-you-asked/"&#x3E;Thrillbent&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x3C;/em&#x3E;&#x3C;br /&#x3E;&#x3C;br /&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;	Mark Waid has never been shy about unleashing his vengeance on the internet, whether its to threaten nerds about smack-talking Stephen Wacker&#x26;#39;s departure from 52,&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;a href="http://www.theouthousers.com/index.php/news/96-news-archive/17580-creator-slapfight-jms-vs-whacker-and-waid.html"&#x3E;pwn easily-distracted writer J. Michael Straczynski&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x26;nbsp;over Spider-Man sales, shame Newsarama editor Lucas Siegel on Twitter over &#x3C;a href="http://www.newsarama.com/15595-10-worst-comic-book-based-movie-performances-of-all-time.html"&#x3E;a poorly written fluff piece&#x3C;/a&#x3E;, or &#x3C;a href="http://www.theouthousers.com/index.php/news/120973-waid-threatens-girl-scouts-when-wacker-has-cookie-troubles.html"&#x3E;berate a troop of Girl Scouts&#x3C;/a&#x3E;&#x26;nbsp;when Stephen Wacker can&#x26;#39;t open a box a cookies. So when we learned that Waid had posted a review of Man of Steel on the Thrillbent blog, and saw tweets like this one...&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;	&#x3C;img alt="" src="http://www.theouthousers.com/images/jck/WaidMoS.png" /&#x3E;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;	...we knew we were in for some classic Waid awesomeness.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;	Stop reading here if you don&#x26;#39;t want to be spoiled...&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;	So what was Waid&#x26;#39;s problem with &#x3C;em&#x3E;Man of Steel&#x3C;/em&#x3E;? Well, he didn&#x26;#39;t hate everything. Amongst some of the positives, Waid listed the characterization of Pa Kent, the musical score, and the top half of Superman&#x26;#39;s costume (Waid is a boobs guy). In fact, Waid claims to have liked the first teo thirds of the movie well enough. However,&#x26;nbsp;he doesn&#x26;#39;t seem to feel that the movie captured Superman&#x26;#39;s essence as a hero, as the hero allows too much collateral damage during the movie&#x26;#39;s big Smallville battle:&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;	&#x3C;p&#x3E;		A lot of destruction. A lot of destruction&#x26;ndash;and Superman making absolutely no effort to take the fight, like, ONE BLOCK AWAY INTO A CORNFIELD INSTEAD OF ON MAIN STREET. Still, saving people here and there, but certainly never going out of his way to do so, and mostly just trying not to get his ass kicked.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;/blockquote&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;	&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;	Of course, things only get worse during the Metropolis battle, which Waid calls disaster porn and compares to Hiroshima:&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;	&#x3C;p&#x3E;		Minute after minute after endless minute of Some Giant Machine laying so much waste to Metropolis that it&#x26;rsquo;s inconceivable that we weren&#x26;rsquo;t watching millions of people die in every single shot.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;/blockquote&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;	&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;	And Superman fares no better during the fight with Zod, according to Waid, thanks to &#x26;quot;his utter disregard for the collateral damage was just jaw-dropping as they just kept crashing through buildings full of survivors.&#x26;quot; Waid&#x26;nbsp;sums up these complaints, saying:&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;	&#x3C;p&#x3E;		Superman rarely if ever bothered to give the safety and welfare of the people around him one bit of thought.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;/blockquote&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;	&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;	But it wasn&#x26;#39;t Superman&#x26;#39;s callous disregard for the welfare of regular citizens that was the straw that broke the camel&#x26;#39;s back for Waid. That honor belongs to the movie&#x26;#39;s climax:&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;blockquote&#x3E;	&#x3C;p&#x3E;		Some crazy guy in front of us was muttering &#x26;ldquo;Don&#x26;rsquo;t do it&#x26;hellip;don&#x26;rsquo;t do it&#x26;hellip;DON&#x26;rsquo;T DO IT&#x26;hellip;&#x26;rdquo; and then Superman snapped Zod&#x26;rsquo;s neck and that guy stood up and said in a very loud voice, &#x26;ldquo;THAT&#x26;rsquo;S IT, YOU LOST ME, I&#x26;rsquo;M OUT,&#x26;rdquo; and his girlfriend had to literally pull him back into his seat and keep him from walking out and that crazy guy was me. That crazy guy was me.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;/blockquote&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;	&#x26;nbsp;&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;	Ah, there&#x26;#39;s the Mark Waid we know and love. Yelling at the movie screen in what was apparently a nerd rage fueled our of body experience.&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;p&#x3E;	It&#x26;#39;s a great review, and classic Waid. Waid is an extremely knowledgeable guy about comics, and we already know he doesn&#x26;#39;t pull his punches, so it&#x26;#39;s really worth a read, provided you&#x26;#39;ve seen the movie and don&#x26;#39;t mind having the whole thing spoiled (I certainly didn&#x26;#39;t). &#x3C;a href="http://thrillbent.com/blog/man-of-steel-since-you-asked/"&#x3E;Head over to Thrillbent and check it out&#x3C;/a&#x3E;. And while you&#x26;#39;re there, &#x3C;a href="http://thrillbent.com/"&#x3E;check out some innovative digital comics&#x3C;/a&#x3E;!&#x3C;/p&#x3E;&#x3C;br /&#x3E;&#x3C;br /&#x3E;Written or Contributed by Jude Terror&#x3C;div class="hrClear"&#x3E;&#x3C;hr&#x3E;&#x3C;/div&#x3E;&#x3C;br /&#x3E;&#x3C;a rel='nofollow' href='http://www.theouthousers.com/index.php/features/122685.html'&#x3E;READ THIS ARTICLE ON THE FRONT PAGE, HUMANS!&#x3C;/a&#x3E;

Now did they die in a manner different than Zod, or did Supes snap all their necks too?

&#x3C;blockquote class="uncited"&#x3E;&#x3C;div&#x3E;The National Security Agency is currently collecting the telephone records of millions of US customers of Verizon, one of America's largest telecoms providers, under a top secret court order issued in April.

The order, a copy of which has been obtained by the Guardian, requires Verizon on an &#x26;quot;ongoing, daily basis&#x26;quot; to give the NSA information on all telephone calls in its systems, both within the US and between the US and other countries.

The document shows for the first time that under the Obama administration the communication records of millions of US citizens are being collected indiscriminately and in bulk &#8211; regardless of whether they are suspected of any wrongdoing.

The secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (Fisa) granted the order to the FBI on April 25, giving the government unlimited authority to obtain the data for a specified three-month period ending on July 19.

Under the terms of the blanket order, the numbers of both parties on a call are handed over, as is location data, call duration, unique identifiers, and the time and duration of all calls. The contents of the conversation itself are not covered.

The disclosure is likely to reignite longstanding debates in the US over the proper extent of the government's domestic spying powers.

Under the Bush administration, officials in security agencies had disclosed to reporters the large-scale collection of call records data by the NSA, but this is the first time significant and top-secret documents have revealed the continuation of the practice on a massive scale under President Obama.

The unlimited nature of the records being handed over to the NSA is extremely unusual. Fisa court orders typically direct the production of records pertaining to a specific named target who is suspected of being an agent of a terrorist group or foreign state, or a finite set of individually named targets.

The Guardian approached the National Security Agency, the White House and the Department of Justice for comment in advance of publication on Wednesday. All declined. The agencies were also offered the opportunity to raise specific security concerns regarding the publication of the court order.

The court order expressly bars Verizon from disclosing to the public either the existence of the FBI's request for its customers' records, or the court order itself.

&#x26;quot;We decline comment,&#x26;quot; said Ed McFadden, a Washington-based Verizon spokesman.

The order, signed by Judge Roger Vinson, compels Verizon to produce to the NSA electronic copies of &#x26;quot;all call detail records or 'telephony metadata' created by Verizon for communications between the United States and abroad&#x26;quot; or &#x26;quot;wholly within the United States, including local telephone calls&#x26;quot;.

Maybe Monarch's parents had a hit put out on them by the guild?  &#x3C;img src="http://www.theouthousers.com/forum/images/smilies/102.gif" alt=":smt102" title="gotnothin" /&#x3E;&#x3C;/div&#x3E;&#x3C;/blockquote&#x3E;

What's interesting is that kano says he took his vow of silence after taking a beautiful man from the world but he was already silent when we meet him in the team venture days.

No Jonas &#x26;quot;dies&#x26;quot; while rusty is in college which is when he leaves while the monarch thinks he's blowing him up but actually blows up Werner underbite.

Only watched the Punk stuff and the Henry stuff.

Punk was awesome as always, loved everything he did and I have been waiting for the Brock/Punk feud since Brock first showed back up. Should be a good one.

Now the Henry stuff was just fucking brutally awesome! The whole time I was watching, I was like he's not really retiring he's about to whip Cena's ass, but then I was like damn he's crying and bringing up his kids, joking with the crowd, yeah he's really going to retire, nah he's gonna whip Cena's ass, nope he's done...back and forth I was buying what Henry was selling, being a puppet and damn if he didn't get one over on me in the end. Loved everything about that segment, especially him yelling &#x26;quot;Thats What I Do&#x26;quot; when it was all done. Best segment on RAW in a very long time.

&#x3C;b&#x3E;Kari no Anime &#x26;amp; Manga Thread&#x3C;/b&#x3E;

Well... since the original Anime and Manga thread is kind of bubbling and brewing, I thought I'd start a temporary/interim thread. Hopefully things calm down a bit in the real thread and regular news and conversation can resume there.

Temporarily though, I'll post in this thread. Hope that is okay.

EDIT: I think it reads better as &#x26;quot;kari no&#x26;quot; than &#x26;quot;karino&#x26;quot;

&#x3C;b&#x3E;Cartoons &#x26;amp; Animation&#x3C;/b&#x3E;

There are threads about specific cartoons (eg. Clone Wars) and eras (eg. 80s) and types (eg. anime)... but I didn't come across a more generic one (if there is one, no one has responded in a while I think). So how about it? This thread can be for those less popular cartoons or those that don't have dedicated threads for them.

They changed the dang title.

If there is anything I've noticed about music critics when it comes to popular music they will like something because they have to perpetuate it. It's not surprising that it gets mostly positive reviews. Granted I'm pretty curmudgeonly and am not in the slightest a hip hop fan but, I can still appreciate a good track or album. I was incredibly impressed with the new Justin Timberlake albums but I was also impressed with him on SNL, Kanye on the other hand left me feeling dumber for having listened to him but the internet creamed it's pants because it was LOUD AND DIFFERENT!!!! For the most part mainstream hip hop is just awful and so is everything else. Then again I'm listening to the new Sabath album having trouble staying awake at my desk. M

&#x3C;b&#x3E;Any Dune fans here ?&#x3C;/b&#x3E;

so a few weeks ago I finally picked up and read Frank Herbert's Dune it was a book I always wanted to check out but for whatever reason I never made the jump.So now I've just started the 4th book God emperor of Dune which so far (only like 90 pages in) is much different in terms of how it's written than the previous books. But anyway man do I love this series I'm shocked that's it's taken me so long to actually pick it up and read the damn things. I love how Herbert built such a huge epic universe and for the most part did so by not telling the reader every little detail of the universe.I love the characters and how complex their motivations can be I dunno I just love the whole thing I'm gonna be sad once I finish book 6 cuz I hear the books Frank's son has wrote are pretty much universally hated.

so any other fans here ? cuz I need to talk to someone about this crap haha

ps. I also finally watched David Lynch's Dune and I don't understand why people seem to hate that movie so much,aside from the ending which was dumb and made zero sense I thought the movie was pretty awesome and fairly close to book

Children of Dune is a good book, but it's so difficult to match the greatness of Dune and Dune Messiah.
I felt God Emperor of Dune brought back the greatness, but I'm probably wrong in the head like Hab.
I enjoyed Heretics &#x26;amp; Chapterhouse as well, but I haven't read any of the additional novels.
