My four year old would have a serious problem with that since he loves both Spider-Mn and Handy Manny.

oh that sucks, now marvel is going to end up turning into DC and it will get even more stale since it will only be a licensing house

Why would i?

Why would i care if this makes Disney or Marvel gobs of money?

I don't care. That doesn't affect me

I need interesting comics and movies

Spider-Man could become as well known as Mickey Mouse. But I dont buy Mickey Mouse comics/movies/watch his tv shows. It's irrelevant to my life whether Mickey mouse earns 1 cent a year or 50 billion dollars. It's irrelebant to me if Joe Q and Stan Lee own so much Marvel stock, they made a billion dollars.

What matters to me is how the characters are handled, not whether they wind up on more lunch boxes or become known in Zimbabwe.

That doesn't affect me.

Ever since Disney stole Kimba the White Lion and then rewrote Pochahontis to have her fall for her rapist, I've had little love for the Mouse (unless he's being skewered on South Park in that Jonas Bros episode).

Having them purchase the company that, imo, has completely forgotten who and what they were makes a kind of sense.

On the plus side, Disney has a looooong history of having the characters be more important than the creators (unless your name is Walt). Maybe this'll mean that Marvel will go back to character driven stories rather than creator based ones.

Screw those little shits. The Incredibles was pretty much the FF. I love that movie but if it was the actually the FF? I would have had an brain anyeresum from coolness overload.

Tourists and snobs overexaggerate the scariness of Old Times Square. Back then it was all about porn, grindhouse ficks and head shops that sold ninja swords. It was grungy but more than anything it was funny.

You only went there with a crew of fellas ‘cause it was funnier that way. Things like a 3:00 a.m showing of “Spearman Of Death” and “Mad Monkey Kung Fu” can only be appreciated in a group.

Now Alphabet City in the 70 and 80’s? Now THAT was scary.
