So the Mrs. and myself have recently started Tivo'ing Craig Ferguson and last week, Karen Gillan was a guest (after just being a guest a few weeks earlier it seems) and on Wednesday, Matt Smith did a bit. Add in the ever present Tardis on his desk and there's more Doctor Who stuff on that one show than there is on the entirety of BBCA.
Another excellent episode from the new series. I thought that the introduction of 'Mels' was a bit out of the blue (would have been so much cooler if she'd been introduced in an earlier episode) but other than that it was brilliant.
Really confused about the Silence now. So are the Silent not the Silence or are they just a part of it?
I think Doctor Who may be getting too confusing, especially for kids. This show is supposed to be all ages, but it's insanely complicated now. I enjoyed this week's episode more for the one-off ideas and funny lines rather than the over-arching plot, which is too much really.

The Silent are a race. The Silence is the movement.

But then I think SHIELD is confusing, so I'm obviously a moron compared to you.
But what's confusing about any of that? River's timeline, especially, became much clearer with this episode.
