So thanks to a friends suggesting I'm starting to listen to the 8th Doctor's audio adventures. Starting with "blood of the daleks" and going from there.

Has Tennant done any audio adventures yet?

David Tennant does a mean Catherine Tate impression in the Donna ones.

I guess it makes sense in a way.

Well in my quest to watch Doctor Who I have made it through Season 3. I liked this season a lot but I felt bad because I though Martha was a good actress she was just not used well enough. I get the point to have Rose thrown in her face every time we needed to be reminded but I thought she had some good moments as the Doctors companion. I think I understand now why Jack was not in the show as much as last time and this was John was filming Torchwood? (How was that series by the way? I was thinking about watching it after I finish Doctor Who.)

Honestly, I liked Donna during the Christmas episode so I am really looking forward to her in Season 4.

So far as Doctors go I really liked them all and do not have a definite favorite just yet. Though I can understand why Tennant gets a lot of love for what he brought to the character.

As a whole I really and starting to become a big fan of Doctor Who, with the show and the monthly eBooks that is coming up to the 50th.

You think? I always thought of it as some part of his time that would just be talked about but never really shown. Though what do I know I've just started watching doctor who this year with season 1.

Got some Hartnell DVDs in the mail today, including the Doctor's first encounter with the Daleks.

This nostalgia spree really is getting unhealthy. I really should not be doing the same thing I was doing 30 years ago on a Friday night. :-(

Maybe I'll watch Abduction By Daleks later for fun.

I've just seen clips of Hartnell on BBC site and read one short-story of him.

Bit of a mixed bag, really. The first season was execrable. The second season was quite a lot better. The third season is one long story and it's an absolute classic. The fourth season had a great idea behind it but was pretty underwhelming.
