Also Chris, you accused me of starting this, but if you go back to page 181 then you'll see that I was arguing with Cat and then you jumped in. :P

OK, then I take back to accusation.

I know how to count to twelve and if Smith is the eleventh actor to play the Doctor, then I'm certain that Hurt is the 12th. :P

But we're not arguing real world things. We're arguing story things. :D

I've been arguing real worlds things this entire time. I know that chronologically with the story of the show the the War Doctor is the ninth Doctor. If you think that's what I've been arguing, then no, it is not. I've been arguing what the real world name he should be referred to as. I prefer the name the War Doctor because he's the twelfth Doctor in real life, but not within the show.

If you count Richard Hurndall, who was the Doctor 1 replacement in The Five Doctors, Smith would be 12.

You could count that I guess, but then considering that he was playing the First Doctor it gets confusing at that point, a bit too confusing for me.

But we're not talking about actors here. We're talking about the characters, and how they are referred to by the fandom.

Chronology-wise, Hurt is the 9th Doctor. That was my point.

Ah, using the BBC as a source, the same source that isn't calling John Hurt the Ninth Doctor, but is instead calling Christopher Eccleston the Ninth Doctor. :P

I know that was your Point, the problem is that up until now, in terms of chronology, the order of the Doctors in show and out has been the same. Officially BBC is now basing things on the real life order. Hence Eccleston is still the Ninth Doctor because he played the character after McGann, but before Tennant. All I'm saying is that if that's the order the BBC wants to put them in, that's good enough for me.

Are you calling the BBC a schizo? :P

Because it seems you are. You see, that's a screencap of the actual credits to the film and there, in order, at the number nine place is John Hurt not Christopher Eccleston. All grouped together as The Doctor. :P

You're going to go by a website that is not even run by a Jude. Cause if it was, it would have been undated or... well not working. :P

:P
