My turn to try starting a word game. We'll see if it dies a quick death like most of my threads do.
We've had games that involve the
names of supercharacters and a game that focuses on
real world geography; so I thought we could try out something that neither of those necessarily cover. How about a game to name fictional/fantasy things and places?
This would cover fantasy/fictional/legendary/mythological objects, vehicles, gadgets, places, species, etc
Borrowing liberally from other games' rules:
- Respond to the previous word with another word whose starting letter is the last letter of the previous word
- Put where the object is from (which fictional story, etc) in parentheses after the thing's name. This is advantageous to all in that it may educate us on something interesting.
- Use specific items when possible. Typing "Table (Earth-2)" is technically workable I guess, but it's not very imaginative. You can use an object that exists in real life but try to use something that has a fictional element to it's backstory.
- Specific characters' names are technically okay, but we would probably be better off with those being in the Supercharacter Name Game.
- Images are encouraged but not necessary
- Entries should be in typed in alphabetical or numerical characters (no kanji, sanskrit, etc)
- The rules may be changed
- Have fun! There will be mistakes made. Chiding is okay but there's no need for us to be rules lawyers.

I'll start:
Mjolnir (Marvel Universe, Thor)
