Throwing out a simple question here to get a feel for who everyone is into right now.

For me my favorite writer is easily Jason Aaron. He is doing amazing work on every title he has been working on recently. His first 11 issues of Thor God of Thunder are among the best stories I have ever read. Then the crazy quirky stuff he is doing on Wolverine and the X-Men is just incredible.

My favorite artist currently is a bit tougher to nail down, as there are a quiet a few I really like. Essad Ribic is definitely up there with what he has done alongside Aaron on Thor God of Thunder, but I think I am gonna have to go with Ed McGuinness as my favorite because anytime he is working on anything it is an instant buy for me.

I am so looking forward to seeing McGuinness and Aaron working together on Amazing X-men, that should be absolutely EPIC!

Scott Snyder with out a doubt, my favorite writer. Every thing I have read by him has been awesome.

Seam Murphy is my favorite artist. I wasn't really aware of him before Joe the Barbarian, although I had read some stuff by him at that point and I am firmly in love with his style.

Between Manhattan Projects, East of West and his Avengers stuff definitely Hickman as far as writing goes.

Art is a really tough one for me, it's definitely close between Fiona Staples and Nick Dragotta.

Writer: Bendis, I like him anyway, but leaving The Avengers has given him a new freshness, both his X-Men titles are amazing, Guardians Of The Galaxy is great and whilst I'm behind on Ultimate Spider-Man, that's still wonderful.

Artist: Chris Samnee, every issue of Daredevil looks amazing, and he innovates something different each time. Aja on Hawkeye is even more innovative, but Samnee gets more comics out more consistently.

Artist: Sean Murphy
After the first three issues of The Wake being so mind blowing visually this feels like an easy call for current favourite artist. This guy is a monster.

Writer: Tim Seeley
For me the obvious choices for current favourite writer are Snyder and Lemire. The only thing I've read by Seeley at the moment is Revival and maybe that means I shouldn't really be putting him at number one but I feel like the shit he's doing with Revival is so out of control that I can give him the title of current favourite writer.

Favorite writer: Probably Jonathan Hickman.

Favorite artists: It is a tie between Fiona Staples and Scottie Young (His Oz stuff in particular). I think both artists' artworks have an individual uniqueness about them which makes them really stand out to me.
