@MistaT
If I knew Jackie Chan was a Communist, I would never have been a fan. Communism is fundamentally an evil system requiring the removal of freedom and the murder of anyone who stand up for their rights. It's very disappointing that Jackie Chan supports it.
@MuddyGlass
The Ip Man movies were just non-stop action movie goodness. I do not think I've ever seen a movie that has packed in such high quality, genuine. martial arts action from start to finish.

That would be more impressive if I had any idea how sturdy those trees were.
My only other thought is that Thai is the same country famous for Ladyboys. From the impression I get from the interent, it a nation full of men who are women and men who can knock down trees with their legs. What have we learned form this? I have absolutely no idea.

I used to buy that martial arts magazine back in the days. It sucks that it went out of print though. The only ones that come out now are Inside Kung Fu, Black Belt and MMA and a few others.

well, from my tree kicking experience i'd have to say that a banana tree ranks up there with...oh wait, i've never kicked a tree down before either so i actually have no idea.
on the other hand, we're talking about a goddamn tree! how flimsy could it possibly be?!
here's a video of some random dude copying buakaw, but failing to kick down a banana tree:

Bruce Lee Chuck Norris Jet Li Donnie Yen Michelle Yeoh Billy Chow
I just wanna say the later I adore the most. He's like a freakin martial art tank in kung fu flicks. Intimidating and when he plays a bad guy a great foil for all the good guys. His fights with Yen and Li are some of the best both ever put out.
