It really hasn't aged well at all, I think Buck Rogers which was done 5-6 years earlier had much hirer production values and was a better show (hotter chicks too)

I'm late to the party but, I have to agree about Buck Rodgers. The effects were very impressive for a show made in 1979. That final season was pretty misguided but the first season was great TV. Ardella and Wilma were amazingly hot, too.

Aside from BR, I liked Land of the Lost, Star Trek, Ultraman.

I remember being mad as a kid because they never played Force Five here. We had the Japanese versions (with subtitles) of Mazinger, Mazinger Z, Reideen, Getter Robo, Getter Robot G, UFO Dai Apollon and others but no Grendaizer or Gaiking. I knew of them cause I used to buy the phonebook manga and toys they sold here.

So I used to just love the Shogun Warriors comic too.

I think you need to pick up the Sould of Chogokin Grendaizer or the Revoltech one...

You know, I remember thinking that since the big bad guys on Spectreman were apes, that the show was connected to Planet of the Apes.

Ah it was Ark II not Ark 2000. That's why I couldn't find it, thanks.

Thank you, I've been trying to remember the name of that show for the longest time. I remembered the vehicle, but not much else. :D

The Sould of Chogokin one is expensive, but the Revoltech one can be found for a decent price...
