40GB, with MLB The Show 08.. probably getting MGS4 during the weekend after I get my last vacation pay.

Anyone else have The Show? I know stat has it but I don't know if he's here yet.. would love to play some people on it.

They didn't have any refurbished ones, and I'm kind of glad.. it puts my mind at ease that I have a brand new one. Put a bigger dent in my wallet, and could only afford one game with it for now.. but like I said, when I get paid this weekend, I'll most definitely pick up MGS4 as well.

But The Show was one of the main games I wanted a PS3 for, so I'll be playing it alot.

I still gotta set up the internet and everything.

Oh, I totally did.. if it wasn't for MGS4, I wouldn't have got it. There are games for it that interested me, but not enough to buy it until now.

Question.. is the Road to the Show mode long and tedious? Reviews I read of it said it was way too long and difficult to get out of the minors, no matter how good you're doing because it was going off of player ratings not stats.. true?

I got my account and internet and everything set up last night and played the game a bit..

Two games into my Indians franchise and I'm 1-1, only because the first game I had a nice little inning where small ball helped me out. Beyond that, holy crap, I can't hit for shit!

Pitching is fine, but for some reason I just can't figure the hitting out. I get the power swing and the regular swing buttons, and the timing, I just can't figure out what to do with the left and right analogs..

But beyond that, the game is sweeeet.. I love the atmosphere!

I dont play it. I only do franchise.

I currently have the SF Giants at 69-5 with a team built around Carlos Beltran, David Wright, Aaron Rowand, Grady Sizemore, Matt Cain, James Shields and Tim Lincecum.

They really need to fix their trade AI.
