Okay, now you're being silly if you're saying you have determined this young actress's "essence" in the role from those couple of out-of-character snaps. Besides, all I see here and elsewhere is commentary on her looks in those two pics.

Rob is caught up in comparing her to the 616 version of MJ, but it's still not clear the movie is using anything close to that version. If she's more like her Ultimate counterpart, the "plainness" of the actress isn't a problem.

I am saying from her pictures (those available on the internet), her appearance doesn't have the Mary Jane look and feel (essence) that I get from the comics. If you think I'm silly for forming an opinion based on that, that's all you.

Could care less though. I won't watch the movie so I won't tell how she plays the role and that's not what I'm judging her on.
