I doubt it, besides I thought that one of the current storylines features Tony Stark in a financial crisis because of all the money he uses to fund the Avengers. Or did I imagine that?

Howard Stark and Tony were both arms dealers and a huge part of the founding of the military industrial complex. Waynetech never got in the arms market, so it makes sense to me.

Keeping every vehicle ever owned doesn't make him rich. It makes him a redneck.

I would agree with you if he was keeping Ford F150s, Dodge Rams, or fishing boats. Since he has vintage automobiles, jets, motorcycles, and boats he is more like an actor, rapper, or professional athlete. :-P

Plus, the man has had multiple, city-sized space stations. Nothing says "I'm rich, bitch!" quite like a space station.

Don't forget the distinct lack of a gun rack mounted on the back window or confederate flag stickers.

Some rednecks can claim this too. Although I think they're probably considered "fancy" by regular rednecks and are generally ostracized ;)
