Anyone watch Being Human or Merlin? Those are two shows I've been curious about but have never watched. The verdict is?

Being Human, nope. Merlin, yeah. Wife and I would watch that. Not bad, really campy/hokey at times.

That's exactly what I was afraid of with Merlin. I'm not looking for campy. I was hoping it was a pretty serious show. Is it Xena levels of campy? Are the special effects terrible? I was hoping for five seasons of awesome fantasy.

I saw 2 episodes of Being Human .

Merlin sounds like something I might enjoy but I haven't seen it.

Ive watched being human and in my opinion its a fantastic series it does take a bit to get past the first couple episodes of setting up the origin but after that it takes off and the storyline throughout the series is well done. I rarely have any series that I cant wait for next weeks episode but this is one of them.

I have never seen it but would be interested in iTunes if it remains. If anyone really really wants it I will totally defer. :smt006

Alrighty. I doubt I'll get any other takers with the length of time it's been up. Season 1 has been really enjoyable. I'll be finishing it up once I get home. I watched six episodes in a row last night. I usually take breaks every couple of episodes but I couldn't put the damn thing down.

It looks like Being Human is the safe bet to go with. I was so close to buying the seasons over the weekend. I figured I would ask on here first. The three seasons are pretty cheap on Amazon.

Thank you. I really like being human. I assume I will serial watch the British version someday. We were just talking the other day about when will the nest season of American version be available. Very cool. :smt026

I was watching Helix over the weekend and they kept showing promos for Being Human Season 4. That really sparked my interest in the series. Afterwards I read up a little on it and watched a few clips. From what I saw it looked really promising. With you and acousticgorilla liking it, I think I'll place an order for it once I get home. I knew this place could be a help.

This show looks really good. Who knew the Sundance channel had original programming?

Whoa. First glance does look pretty good! :smt096 I shudder to think that all this great original programming on channels like that may lead us to re-up our dish packages to a higher one. I gotta think we stick with waiting for netflix when they come out on disc or streaming.
