I also have a bad habit of buying collector's edition video games recently. They take up too much damn space and I need to stop it. I just need to stop buying anything for a year. The backlogs are getting worse and worse.

Never heard of collector's edition video games.
Oh unless you mean like the special boxes that come with like a Halo Helmet or something along those lines.

Yes, the one's with all the extra crap like art books, soundtracks and other useless stuff. I'm actually thinking about quitting video games all together. I rarely ever have time to play them now.

That's kind of what happened to me. I just never seem to have the time or desire to sit down and play a game for 8-10 hours straight plus it hurts my eyes nowadays. I get all bloodshot now...........

GiveWarAChance wrote:Ah, the addiction of comic books. Last week I got in my monthly order of 50+ comic books and my huge Spider-Man Omnibus. On Saturday I went down to my local comic shop to pick up some more comics. Afterwards I headed to Newbury Comics and found out they were running a 25% off everything sale. Not being able to resist a good sale I picked up some more comic books and three Marvel Masterworks. I had just enough time to go home and grab something to eat before I headed out to watch Captain America.

I also watched all of Black Sails season 1 and Banshee season 2. I didn't have time to watch one movie last week. Sunday I decided to watch 47 Ronin. I had to get that watched before my four movies come in on Tuesday.

I think I nailed what happened in Game of Thrones perfectly. :D

Oh, Bates Motel has been renewed for a third season. :smt026

I have the same addiction.

I go to comicholics anonymous.

They won't take me. They said there's no hope for those who have over 10,000 comic books. :-(

How many of the "Collector's editions" that you own are for games that are "must play"?

And I finally saw Captain America The Winter Soldier.

I loved it. It was amazing. One of my all time favorite Marvel movies.

Who's the biggest True Blood fan on here?

You know I am. You already gifted me with what, two seasons of TB in the past? Thankfully last season was a little better than the one before hand. But I made it this far, I'm going to go the distance and finish the series. I mean, it can't be as bad as Dexter's finale? Am I right?

GiveWarAChance wrote:Full rundown of Game of Thrones season 4 episode 1. Expect huge spoilers.

Sansa is sad.
Deanerys army marches.
The wildlings might do something.
The Night's Watch listens to Jon Snow. He's a bastard.
Joffrey is evil.
Tyrion thinks he's a smooth talker.
Jamie isn't that loved.
A new guy is in Kings Landing. He hates Lannisters.
The Hound and Arya kill people.

You forgot about Brienne of Tarth shows up in a half-dress and all the sexes are now oddly aroused.
But it's okay because she's pretty attractive in real life.

Like my Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD Remix. If you decide you go down this dark path, I'll be sure to PM you my address, of course. I'll be happy to "dispose" of all of your video game consoles and merchandise for you.

My PS3 died the other day so when I went to work, I was hoping to buy one, but damn they are still a bit pricy. :/

I am ashamed that I did not get to see this one in the theaters. I'll won't be able to buy it tomorrow, instead I'll be using the last bit of my late birthday money to take my lady out to see The Winter Soldier with me.

I would say about 80%. The only one I haven't played and beaten is my most recent purchase, Lightning Returns. I tend to not go out of my way to buy a game just because it has a collectors edition. My problem is that I can't just buy the regular edition of a game that I want if I know there's also a collector's edition out there. This is especially true if I know there's in game content in that collector's edition.

Impressive

Do you have any lifesize comic statues? One thing I always wanted was a lifesize spiderman statue since they came out with the first movie and had a giveaway via Pepsi or blockbuster. Ever since I was a kid and went to Sharper Image and saw the lifesize Darth Vader & Storm Trooper & Alien & Predator I always wanted to get something like that. When the Incredible Hulk came out they had some impressive statues of him as well, plus Dobby, Golum, Yoda over the years as well as some other Star Wars ones & some batmans & Supermans I think were done as well.

If anyone has something along those lines I'd guess it to be you.

Sadly all I have at the moment is a lifesize blue M&M..........

My father-in-law has a lifesize Predator head. It's pretty cool. A few of the spines have broken off while being moved around but it's still a pretty slick item.

I'm not sure I ever saw just the head before but the whole life size body ones used to be pretty impressive. After I posted that I checked eBay briefly. I had forgotten that there exists the Silver Surfer as well & Captain America. I remember seeing an MtV Cribs way back of Shaquille O'Neal's old house down in Miami and he had a whole room full of about every single one ever made at the time

So SirCinematic is the biggest True Blood fan? (I'm not using that new name) I don't remember even giving him any seasons of True Blood in the past. Maybe old age is starting to get the best of me.
