I'm a HUGE Bond-fanatic. If you haven't already, you should definitely give a look to the old Ian Fleming novels.

I've got them all in a box somewhere. Bought them all with the intention of reading them way back & yet never found the time. Probably too busy watching movies.....

I just finished watching Banshee season 1. That was some good stuff. It starts off a little slow but gets better and better as the season goes on. It had some really long and brutal fight scenes it. Just a mere 42 deaths over the 10 episodes. The nudity and sex is almost on par with the action. It had some pretty interesting characters and I'm down for season 2.

That good to know! I'm two episodes in so I'll have to hold strong. I have to admit that I like sheriff 2.0 and how he does things ;)

Mid to late season it kicks in to high gear. There's lots of action in those later episodes. Stick with it and I think you will be pleased.

Honestly I'm glad to hear that, the first two episodes are okay, but nothing to draw you into the series. I'll hang in there and get hooked only to be waiting patiently for the second season ;)

Yeah, I agree with you. Those first two episodes aren't that great overall. Things start getting a little better with episode 3. From there things keep getting better and better.

Netflix and Hulu are both 7.99. Netflix is good for older shows, but Hulu is one of the best things you can do. It really eliminates just about any need for cable. With HBO GO and Cinemax GO, it's whatever your cable company charges for HBO essentially. You have to have the HBO package to get HBO GO, but I believe HBO GO is free once you get the package. Cable is my wife's bill so I'm not quite sure how it rolls out.

So you find all the new series on Hulu?

Not all, but plenty. NBC and ABC shows are readily available. Pretty sure FOX is as well.

Would you happen to know if Mad Men season 6 is on Hulu?
I just watched the previous 5 seasons over the last few weeks on Netflix & am dying to see season 6.

AMC shows don't tend to make it to Hulu, sadly. Sorry!

Who wants Friday the 13th: The Complete Collection on UV when it comes out on 9/13/13? One of you will get all 12 films from me. What do you have to do? We will have a little guessing game. Guess correctly which 5 blu-rays I'm picking up on September 3rd and the collection is yours. Take your time putting your guess together because I'm only allowing one guess a day for each person. I want to allow as many people as possible to get a chance at winning. The blu-rays can be any combination of movies or TV shows, as long as they come out on September 3rd.

Here's the link to the releases: http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/releasedates.php?year=2013&month=9
