Really? Why is that? I'm a huge fan of the designs but just curious what you dislike about it.

they are so over-done and "X-treme", its ridiculous. Even with the first game, Bane, your standard muscle-bound guy is now 10 feet tall, has like 6 GIANT glowing tubes, robot gauntlets, and a huge backpack. Scarecrow has an oversized gas mask and robot hands and is all torn up. I dunno, they just reek of some 14 year old trying to throw as many elements into a design as possible. They are all way too busy and convoluted and for some reason every character needs robot parts or bulky armor. Its like if rob liefield designed a game, and instead of pouches, he put bulky armor pieces with rivet dots and contour lines EVERYWHERE.

and regarding Mr. Freeze, of COURSE he has a huge mecha torso with a bunch of xtreme computer screens and weapons and tubes. "HE NEEDS MORE SHIT STICKING OUT OF HIM!! THE KIDS WON'T LIKE IT IF HE DOESN't HAVE SOME GLOWING SHIT ON HIM"

I read this before I saw the trailer and thought Freeze would look pretty horrible, but I saw that Freeze actually looks a bit scary in this strange way.

I liked most of the designs from the first game but there were a few, like Bane, that I thought were atrocious. So far, most of the designs that I have seen from the sequel have been good but Mr. Freeze looks almost like a Krogan from the Mass Effect series in this trailer. I don't necessarily hate it but its not my favorite design for Freeze.

That looks good, though I think Freeze is too bulky looking. He looks like he came from Bioshock.

Still, it looks like a fun boss fight.

Okay the moment Freeze has the dome clasp on his head and his goggles turned red. Things turned awesome.

I actually think he has this weird almost retro twilight zonish look to him.

Yeah, not a fan of the Freeze design. It's too busy. So many parts that the polygons become obvious. I anticipate a lot of screen tearing during game play.
