If you like violence, American Vampire is a good book to pick up. Plenty of blood and bad assery there.

Walking Dead's always been violent.

Invincible treads the line between colorful superheroes and gory violence. Might wanna check out the first couple trades.

IDW has a new Frankenstein book coming out by Steve Niles and Bernie Wrightson. Don't know if it's violent, but it should be beautiful.

If you like western violence, and not just Jonah Hex, check out Hawken by Tim Truman and his son Ben. That's from IDW too, I think.

There's a Valiant revival starting in May that looks to be really good.

I'm currently enjoying The Green Wake, Memorial, Locke and Key. Halcyon was a good read. Peter Panzerfaust was really good. I liked the Prophet revival.

I don't care for superheros much, and the ones I did like have been ruined. I don't care for fantasy, or far flung sci fi... I like gritty modern day or near future stuff... graphic violence is always a plus.

I enjoyed the first issue of Saucer County. This month there seems to be a lot of Vertigos kicking off. I'm looking forward to trying out the voodoo book.
